The windy night by quince

      One cold windy winter’s night a guard was doing her patrols around at the temple of the goddess of life and heard a child crying she looked at the bush beside her crouched down and saw an infant  she looked around and saw no one nearby she picked up the infant and rushed into the temple past a couple maids, and came to the goddess and says “I have found this child in a bush with this,” she handed the goddess the paper she found next to the baby and the goddess reads it “this child is yours she may be part robot  with the mark of a blade dragon servant, but she is yours”. Hmm the goddess says “she can stay”. And the goddess leaves the guard called kinkeara walks to the nursery and places the baby on the closest bed, next she wakes up the nurse and says “take care of that child” and leaves the temple…..

       Lyra fell over bushy her teddy bear “bushy!” bushy blinked at her he was sorry. He was wearing a small top hat. Lyra moved out of her room. She carefully closed the door and…… “SURPRISE!”The whole temple yelled it was Lyra’s twelfth birthday and bushy’s 11 Th. The goddess handed her a box, and Lyra opened it in it was a sword! Lyra wanted to be trained by alyss the temple’s   one and only ninja. Lyra hugged the goddess picked up bushy and went to the court yard. There clawra tiger’s bane and Jenna swift arrow waved at her she waved back. Alyss called her over since she likes eavesdropping, and saw the sword. “Hey alyss,” lyra said once she was near her alyss blinked “I say hello to you lyra-san,” this is how alyss usually greets Lyra “hey wanna sword fight alyss?” “I respect your challenge but must decline,” “why” asked lyra “I am tired ask kinkeara-san I heard she has a present for you”.  
         Lyra went to the bottom of the guard tower and yelled “KINKEARA?” “Coming” yelled a voice from the top of the tower. Tap tip tap tip tap. “Wat?” “Um…. It’s my birth day I’m twelve the age mama said I can go on an adventure” “great I have something for you” kinkeara handed her two boxes on top of each other, Lyra opened then and there was a hand gun in each box. “Talk to tineara she’s been working hard on a present for you,” says kinkeara. Lyra gathered up the guns and trudged up 345 beautifully carved steps and arrived at tineara’s brick home it had exotic flowers and a bush of gold roses. She knocked on the door and tineara came out she was dressed in a gold dress.a small  purple and gold dragon snuffled her way up next to her showing her brilliant sharp white teeth the dragon shook
